Their primary responsibilities are to provide service to guests and to make sure that the gaming floor is maintained in a serviceable manner at all times.
Must maintain knowledge of all promotions and gaming devices utilized on the gaming floor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber of guest service and respect to all patrons, employees and Gulfstream Casino personnel.
Provides direction, assistance, and/or information as may be required to ensure guest satisfaction.
Ensures compliance of all policies and procedures to the Departmental or Internal Control Manual.
Assures proper completion of currency transactions reporting paperwork, as required by federal regulations (Title 31), FDLE for the gaming department.
Perform all required hand-pay jackpots with the knowledge or with supervisor assistance in accordance with Gulfstream Park Policy and Procedures.
Assists guest with the redemption of tickets and breaking bills where applicable.
Responsible for keeping the casino floor clean, organized, and presentable.
Restock the machine ticket printers when low or out, clear minor bill acceptor or ticket printer jams.
Be able to understand and calculate complex game pay tables with confidence and be able to explain it to the guest.
Maintains a working knowledge of the property, as well as current and upcoming special events, in order to advise guest and fellow employees of same, whenever possible.
Resolves Guest disputes or contact the Supervisor on the floor to assist in resolving the issue.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Comply with safety procedures including use of required safety equipment and identify unsafe practices or conditions.
Maintains general awareness of gaming operation at all times and comply with security policies and procedures in order to secure company assets.
Reports technical problems to a gaming technician or supervisor so they can be repaired quickly.
Provides guest service on the slot gaming floor and any other gaming area of the property.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred and/or two (2) years' work experience in field.
Requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, and have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
Must have the ability to follow instructions, ability to perform assigned tasks under limited supervision.

The noise level in the work area varies from light to moderate.
