Responsiblities:
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction - Greet customers and present menu - Make menu recommendations or share additional information upon request - Take and serve food/drinks orders and up-sell additional products when appropriate - Arrange table settings and maintain tables clean and tidy - Running food to the tables - Working long shifts - Check products for quality and correct any problems - Deliver checks and collect payments - Working closely with all serving and kitchen staff - Follow directions from the general manager and the assistant manager - Help to open and closing the restaurant - Help to keep the restaurant clean at all times - Follow and respect the orders of the superiors rapidly to comply with all the professional duties
Qualifications:
- Respectful, polite, work ethics - Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress or barista - Service orientation and excellent organizational skills - Hands-on experience with a cash register or POS - Active listening and effective communication competencies - Food safety training will be considered a plus - Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is a plus - Must have a positive attitude and a strong commitment to service - Think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment - Fill in whenever and wherever needed Job Types:
