Corporate Wax Trainer

DescriptionAbout the Role
The Corporate Wax Trainer is responsible for delivering training and learning resources that drive the EWC guest experience and educates associates on how it connects and impacts the key drivers of the business. This position will also play a key influential role in educating and developing Network Trainers through a comprehensive Train the Trainer (TTT) certification program.
A Day in the Life

  • Facilitate guest experience, sales, product knowledge and job specific training for our network and corporate associates, through engaging and interactive sessions, to ensure our associates are seen as experts at revealing beautiful skin.
  • Train, support and influence Network Trainers in each assigned region to drive performance and uphold EWC s values and vision.
  • Gather and analyze relevant metrics to identify trends and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to proactively identify specific learning or training needs and provide solutions and resources to positively impact results.
  • Support the design and development of impactful guest service, sales and product training and learning resources that drive center revenue.
  • Build associate and trainer capability, improve performance, and resolve skill gaps through learning development.
  • Collaborate with center management team to support in-center trainings, ensure coaching is appropriately reinforced to sustain training effectiveness through actionable follow-up.
  • Conduct in center follow-up to ensure associates can apply skills that increase center revenue.
  • Identify and communicate training opportunities to appropriate regional teams along with action plans to help increase performance.
  • Develop and maintain a reporting schedule that identifies behaviors and tracks progress to ensure training is impactful.
  • Inspire and motivate associates and network trainers by acting as a Brand Ambassador.
  • Contribute articles and resources with a focus on the guest experience, services, products, skincare, sales, and wax technique, for EWC s internal social and learning platform, as well as actively commenting on questions and posts.
  • Participate in Community Events and Street Team Marketing when requested.
  • Participate in all Trainer Meetings.
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of wax suites in the Corporate Office.
  • Responsible for notifying Training Manager of any supplies needed for training and maintaining order of supplies.
  • Travel throughout the U. S. based on priority and need within each region
  • Maintain knowledge of latest training and development research by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Support other training related tasks and projects as required.

  • Highly skilled in all Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Enjoys business travel up to 70% of the time (50% local travel)
  • Must have complete scheduling flexibility and open availability to travel with short notice. Which includes overnight, weekend, and extended days.
  • Must be living in or be willing to relocate to the South Florida Region.
A valid driver s license as there is travel that requires driving.
Education and Experience
  • Must have a current Florida Full Service Specialist or Cosmetology License.
  • Experience as a prior or current EWC Wax Specialist is a plus, but not required.
  • 2-4 years of experience facilitating customer service training.
  • 2-4 years of experience facilitating retail training experience, beauty industry preferred
  • Training and development coursework or educational background preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
